MISSION STATEMENT

To provide spiritual and emotional hospitality in a warm, non-rushed space, making room for intimate encounters with the joyful, healing presence of the Good Shepherd.

Hello friends! I live in San Diego with my husband of 37 years. We have 3 adult children and three grandchildren, two having special needs. It's a tremendous gift for me to see my grandkids every day, helping out whenever I can.  I love being Granny to these amazing kiddos! I'm also grateful to have a garden where I can "putter" and create beauty right outside my window!

My longing is to see Jesus' face more readily, where I can sense His delight in me no matter what I'm feeling or what I've done. And I love guiding others to experience and perceive His joy and delight in them too. I have found that nothing heals shame more completely than His loving gaze! 

He has called me to be a comforting advocate for those who feel alienated and overwhelmed. I enjoy listening to people tell their story - what they think about and how it makes them feel - and witnessing how Jesus comes alongside and tenderly meets them right where they're at, bringing heaven's perspective and hope. 

BACKGROUND TRAINING

I've had the wonder of experiencing Immanuel Prayer both as a recipient (for my own healing from trauma) and as a practicing facilitator since 2014. Previous to that, I served as a crisis counselor, domestic violence advocate, and site manager of a program that teaches relational "life skills".  Immanuel training programs have included Margaret Webb's Immanuel Encounter, Dr. Karl Lehman's Immanuel Approach, and Patti Valotta's Immanuel Practicum, and most recently, Deeper Walk International's School of Ministry for healing prayer where I became certified. Kent and Cathy Larson, retired pastors of a Vineyard Church in Southern California, began Immanuel Prayer Ministry and graciously continue to personally mentor me. Hundreds of hours have been spent in the combined works of receiving prayer, participating in Dr. Lehman's Immanuel Approach mentoring group, facilitating prayer, and training others in mentoring groups and church lay ministry.

I am also a spiritual director, certified by Soul Shepherding Institute. This 2-yr training program emphasizes being in a community of ambassadors for Christ, receiving and giving spiritual direction, and learning to use practical Soul Shepherding tools in ministry to others. Soul Shepherding also integrates inner healing prayer into their practice. 

NO GREATER JOY

I consider it an incredible privilege to come alongside our Good Shepherd as He brings healing and restoration to peoples' lives.  Supporting His love in your own life as you walk with Him and learn from Him would bring me no greater joy!
